Places in Dreams

Have you noticed that you have very different dreams when you’re sleeping in a new geographic location? People report this as a pretty common phenomenon. I suspect it might have to do with a response to the novel stimuli by the unconscious as well as the always overlooked fact that long distance travel stirs thoughts about mortality in the unconscious.
